move redline in the menu bar?

Yes. Drag the item while pressing ⌘.

It might happen due to a very long name entered. Click this for fix or just complete the task with the shortcut.

Redline uses custom URL schemes for automation: the fix is simply sends the complete command.

shortcuts

⌥⌥ add a new task.

The shorcut can be changed to command, control, or shift.

You can type the shortcut again to close the input, or just type escape.

⌘⏎ complete the current task. It works while you editing the input.

Business Models

Redline supports two business models: patronage and freemium.

Patronage follows the Sublime Text model, where the app occasionally prompts the user to make a donation (tip). In this model, the app is not limited, and after making a donation the window will no longer appear. You can think of it as having an indefinite trial period.

Freemium also starts as an unlimited version, but a limit applied after the grace period. The grace period lasts until the user completes 30 tasks. After the grace period, the user is limited to creating 3 tasks a day. The limit is removed after the premium is purchased.

Currently, the business models are chosen randomly, as I'm figuring out what works best for the app.
